Covenant Retirement Communities
There are many different types of retirement communities, some of which cater to a particular religious denomination. Covenant retirement communities are associated with the Evangelical Covenant Church and are based around the ministry of Jesus Christ to love and serve one another and God. There are multiple communities in different locations that cater to different needs. Covenant communities are appropriate for independent seniors as well as those who require nursing care. One example is Bethany Covenant Village located in northern Minneapolis.
Here you will find beautiful outdoor courtyards and tastefully decorated interiors. Each residence features wall-to-wall carpeting, kitchenette area, bathroom equipped with safety features, heating and air conditioning that is individually controlled, TV and telephone, a 24-hour emergency call service and more. The common areas of this community feature a choice of meals each day, table and tray service, dietary consultation and of course lots of activities for residents to partake in if they choose. There are also home care nursing services available which include bathing, dressing, grooming, medication administering, transportation and housekeeping.
All Covenant communities have amenities such as these for their residents. There are numerous communities across the U.S. including Covenant Home of Chicago, Covenant Shores, Covenant Village of Colorado, Covenant Village of Florida, Covenant Village of the Great Lakes and several others. Some of these campuses are located in metropolitan areas such as the Covenant Home of Chicago. Others, like the Holmstad, are located in more sprawling areas. The Holmstad is situated on 38 acres of scenic land yet is still quite close to the city of Chicago.A similar community is the Samarkand which is in Santa Barbara. These would be considered the most luxurious of the Covenant communities.
There are plenty of advantages to Covenant retirement communities. They offer all the benefits of community living while allowing residents to be as independent as possible. When it comes to price, these communities vary from budget priced to expensive. Covenant communities offer many different choices when it comes to accommodations and prices. Prices will vary depending on how large living quarters are, how many people reside there, and of course which services and amenities are chosen. You can learn more about various pricing plans by contacting a campus in your preferred area.
